REGIONAL WEATHER INFERENCE

 

 

Bay Inference:  

*      Yesterday’s low pressure area over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining Coastal Odisha & neighbourhood with associated cyclonic circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea level, tilting southwestwards with height persists.

 

*      Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into remaining parts of Bay of Bengal. The   Northern   Limit   of   Monsoon   (NLM)   passes   through   Lat.18°N/Long.60°E,   Lat.18°N/Long.70°E,   Harnai, Baramati, Beed, Wardha, Raipur, Sambalpur, Baripada, Bardhaman, Siliguri, Lat.27°N/Long.87.5°E.

 

*      Monsoon moderate to strong over south Bay of Bengal, most parts of central Bay of Bengal and parts of North Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea.

 

*      Weather seasonal rest Bay of Bengal.

Arabian Sea inference:  

*      Conditions are becoming favourable for further advancement of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of Central Arabian Sea during next 48 hours.

 

*      Monsoon moderate to strong over south Arabian Sea and parts of central Arabian Sea.

 

*      Weather seasonal over rest Arabian Sea. 

Regional inference:  

*      Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous over Rayalaseema and active over interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

 

*      Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into remaining parts of Telangana.

 

*      Yesterday’s low pressure area over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining Coastal Odisha & neighbourhood with associated cyclonic circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea level, tilting southwestwards with height persists.

 

*      Nalgonda recorded the highest maximum temperature of 38.5 °C in the region.
